I started scrapping about 12 years ago with the aim to scrap travel photos, but this soon changed to scrapping photos of family. I like to use many different techniques and always trying to learn new things. I like to work with sketches and colour palettes.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15506836073772569997noreply@blogger.comBlogger18125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2145284188023821397.post-61886407471654112212015-05-23T22:34:00.004-07:002015-05-23T22:40:29.990-07:00<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

The handmade item is the pinwheel next to the title. For the chevron I've used texture paste and a stencil. I've cut round the diamond patterned paper and used strips of various papers and cute circle from patterned pp. Spritzed with Colour Bloom Summer Sky and Mister Huey's inky black. The blobs are the same. Randomly stamped 'all boy' using an alphabet stamp and stamped with a check pattern round the photo. Stars are brads. "You" is also a brad Also added are appropriate sentiments . Photo of my grandson taken when he was 14. For the background I've misted in various colours from the mood board using a chicken wire template; texture paste used with a text template; cut lattice using Tim Holtz die; Little Birdie flowers for the cluster, bird cage cut from the Madelaine range of pp and various other pps in the photo mat. The little bird is a Krafters Kirner embellishment. A rub on put onto acetate forms the scroll issuing from the flower cluster. Photo of my dgd enjoying some delicious ice cream at the Chocolaterie at Yarra Glen. Thanks for looking. </div>

For the triangles I've torn the cardstock and underlaid Imaginesce pp. I've used a template and Viva Modelier Crème texture paste to make the doyleys, and various pps for the strips. Hearts are cut with a Sizzix die. Title and other words are from Simple Stories sticker sheet. Also added are Random stamping and sequins used as dot points. Thanks for looking. </div>

PPs used are Basic Brey (the yellow spotted ) and another Basic Grey the red spotted, Authentique. In the background I've used Gelato and a splatter template, misting, and also random stamping. The washi tape is on the pennants. I've placed one label on top of the pennants and two small ones under the flower in the lower rh corner. Thread is looped under the flower cluster. </div>

For this lovely photo of my two beautiful granddaughters, I have chosen a paper from BoBunny Madeline range. I've used gesso to tone part of the pattern down, added a paper doyley sprayed with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist, Kaiser Kraft 'Flutter' template and texture paste for the butterflys, Petaloo flowers and Kaiser mini blooms, a transparency over the photo, and an oval frame embossed with whispers silver argent, a stick pin, lattice cut using a Tim Holtz die, scrolls cut with Paper Artist die, Karen Foster Sparkle burst brad, and rub on title. Thanks for looking. All papers come from
the MME Boy Crazy range and as the name suggests, perfect for boy
layouts. Also used Gelato Red Cherry with a template around edges and in
background, random strips of washi tape and fussy cut robots and stars from the
paper range, some 'critters' buttons . Not altogether happy with the dark
cardstock I've chosen. Thanks for looking. <o:p></o:p></div>

I have scraplifted this page from one of my friend Fi's pages. It is not as detailed as her page, but the basics are there. I've used a TCW stencil in the background, Basic Grey for the photo mat. Circle is cut from Teresa Collins Summer Stories range. Prima flowers, and fussy cut flowers from Basic Grey paper and white flowers are cut from paper that has been embossed with an embossing folder. Frame is hand cut, and I've also used a transparency over the photo. Bird cage is stamped, and leaves cut with Memory Box die cut. Photo of myself and siblings at a family reunion.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15506836073772569997noreply@blogger.com7tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2145284188023821397.post-45803127963003289222015-02-26T20:19:00.005-08:002015-02-26T20:25:42.041-08:00<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Prima Bedtime Story Collection 'Mother Goose' paper for the background, and figures cut from 'Bedtime Story'. I've hand stitched the circles, and the 'moon' circle is cut using a Craftables die. I've used Gelato 'Red cherry' to do the crossed vertical/horizontal lines. The stars are cut from MME Boy Crazy range and edged with Kindyglitz. The small stars are also from the Prima Bedtime Story range.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15506836073772569997noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2145284188023821397.post-73150643641119832272015-02-20T21:33:00.002-08:002015-02-20T21:34:00.914-08:00<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I have used hailspot cardstock, used color bloom spray and a template to create the dribbles, gelato and a Tim Holtz template to do the blobs, the paisley swirls are fussy cut from paper, I have used very old papers for the pennants. The corner swirl is a Bohemia embellishment. I've used twochipboard buttons, and a tiny acrylic teddy in the small frame. The title and butterfly are Kaiser embellies.</div>

We babysat him when his mother was attending uni for her nursing studies. His favourite thing at the time was Playdoh. He had a wonderful time with his special playdoh scissors and Grandma's rolling pin. This page was done as one of four pages I did as a guest designer on Colour Combos Galore. Unfortunately this site now seems to be non operational. I enjoyed the challenges and colour palettes that were provided.<br />
